This is me
Hi! I am Karina, a passionate writer, editor and artist born in Cuba, in 1985.
In 2010, my love for languages took me to Tablas-Alarcos Publishing House in Havana, where I spent 7 years writing and editing texts for its cultural magazine and book collections. I have published articles in diverse platforms (digital and printed) mostly in USA and Cuba.

Today I keep working as a freelance writer, editor and translator, while developing my artistic projects, closely connected to topics like migration and gender issues. (see my art portfolio www.arterritories.org).
Creative processes are also one of my greatest passions!

I love geography, maps, Athletics, History documentaries and some Cuban table games. I strongly believe in the power of good teams, direct words and home food.
So far, I speak three languages (Spanish, English and Italian) but going for the fourth!: German :)
